DOTA 2 ONE Esports announces Major in Singapore

At around 8 am on January 30th, Beijing time, One Esports announced on its official website that it will host the first Major of the season in Singapore. The competition time is from March 25th to April 4th.

The prize pool is 500,000 U.S. dollars, the venue of the competition is the Singapore Indoor Stadium. The stadium can accommodate 12,000 people and has hosted many world-class sports events.

One esports was established in April 2019 and is a professional event organizer. The organization has held DOTA2 and fighting games in Southeast Asia. At the end of 19, the Singapore World Professional Invitational was held by VG from the loser group all the way to the championship.

According to the original plan, the last Major of last season should be hosted by them. Perhaps this is why they may be awarded the right to host the first Major of the new season.
